The College of Pharmacy at IPS Academy was Indore’s first institute to introduce the B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. courses and is one of Central India’s premier institutes for study of Pharmaceutical sciences. The institute is having the highest number of faculties possessing PhD. amongst all institutions in MP. Highly qualified faculties along with able leadership with considerable corporate and academic experience runs the institute guiding young students into a profession where there is very little room for errors.

Achievements of the department as well as students

Many students of the institute have made the college proud by their performance in various events. More than 40 students of B. Pharm. semester VIII were qualified the National Level GPAT Entrance Examination in last five years. The Cricket and Volley ball Team of the institute has brought many laurels in various state as well as intercollegiate competitions. Many students as well as faculty members also secured top positions in intercollegiate singing and dancing competition organized by various pharmacy institutes.

Research details

The institute boasts of many eminent faculty members who posses to their credit numerous national and international publications in journal of repute and also have to their credit various books. Many posters were presented by students of our institute in various conferences and seminars, and these were highly appreciated. The eminent faculty members also represent the institute in various national and international seminar/conferences as resource persons, chairperson, co-chairperson as well as members of various committees.

Many events are regularly organized by our institute which includes Foundation Day Celebration, National Pharmacy Week Celebration, Blood Donation Camp, Annual Women’s Meet, Swachch Bharat Abhiyan, Digital India Week, Sadbhavna Diwas, Vigilance & Ekta Diwas, IPSA ICL Cricket Tournaments, IPSA Pharma League, etc. Festivals and excursions are also organized and celebrated to foster connectivity and team spirit.

A good education should be followed by happy placements. IPS Academy, College of Pharmacy has an independent Placement Cell devoted to cater to the job requirements of students. The institute has successfully place maximum of its students every year, with ever increasing salary packages.

Ltd., etc. The IPS Academy, College of Pharmacy also has an Alumini Association of Pharmacy (AAP) which has a strong base of alumnus, with worldwide presence and across all major sectors. This facilitates placements of newer batches with greater ease. Each alternate year, Alumini Meet is organized by the institute.

Since past four years, four students of B. Pharm. received Chancellor Scholarship for their excellent academic performance in the semester results of Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal. In-house dummy pharmacy store with multiple types of drug dispensing and storage fundamentals was established for student training and practice. (drug store)
Model pilot plant scale laboratories: These labs are at par with industrial infrastructure and have been incorporated to provide the students a fresh perspective for dosage form development and optimization equipped for pilot plant scale up .
Dedicated Research Labs and Central Instrument Room: The faculty encourages research mindsets and our research labs are equipped with advanced instruments for hands-on training of students.

Dr. D. K. Jain is an eminent educationist and researcher. He has a vast academic and industrial experience of more than 40 years. He has published more than 190 international research publications along with several books and book chapters to his credit. He has guided more than ten doctoral candidates with his key research areas includes formulation optimization, drug delivery and education mechanisms. He is a life member of several national and international bodies. He is serving as member and expert in several board of studies of various universities and serving many in various capacities. He has been felicitated with various awards for his outstanding contribution in academics and research.
