M.Sc. Biotechnology is a two year program consisting of 4 semesters and eligibility requirement is B.Sc. degree in Biotechnology/ Micro Biology/ Biochemistry/Life Science with Minimum 60% Marks.

M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ is a two year course under DAVV. Biotechnology is the use of biological processes, organisms including microscopic organisms, or systems to manufacture products intended to improve the quality of human life. The course prepares the students for careers across multiple industries like food, pharmaceutical, chemical, bio-products, textiles, medicine, nutrition, environmental conservation, diary, industry and animal sciences. First year of the course strengthens the students’ fundamentals and second year is about applied aspect of the course, including a project based dissertation in the final semester to emphasize research based learning.

As per the guidelines of MP Higher Education, admission is through online registration. This is followed by direct entry through college level counselling- CLC (Online registration is compulsory for CLC).
