B.Sc. Biotechnology/ Life Science is a three year program and the candidate must have passed 10+2 examination PCB/PCM with minimum 50% marks by M.P. Board/CBSE or equivalent conducted by other State Board/University recognized equivalent.
B.Sc. Biotechnology/ Life Science course is an undergraduate three year professional course affiliated by DAVV. It has Chemistry and Computer Science as combination in B.Sc Biotechnology and Chemistry and Biotechnology in B.Sc Life Science. It introduces candidates to its various opportunities in varied sectors such as in the field of computer science including programming, Chemical Sciences, technology in Biosciences as well as biological aspects of living organisms (plants, animals, microbes). It also includes subject areas of Microbiology, Ecology, Genetics, Molecular Biology. The course focuses on theoretical and practical aspects as well as scientific aptitude and the candidate develops keen interest and problem solving skills. A wide spectrum of lucrative job opportunities is available to in higher studies, Research and Development (R&D), Pharmaceuticals and Chemical industries, Public Health and Environmental Protection Sectors, Clinical Research, Waste Management, IT Sector, etc.
