Department of Training and Development at IPS academy is formed to maximize
training opportunities through various developmental programs and workshops. It
supports students through on line and classroom training modules focused on
experiential learning. These sessions are aimed at developing important life
skills that will differentiate them from the crowd. It’s a complete education
experience which helps students not just in placement and career but also in
their personal lives.

IPS Academy ,Department of Training & Development organized a session titled “Learn with Ranjan Sir”
on Saturday 6 th feb 21. The objective of this session was to motivate the participants to speak English
confidently. Nearly 250 students and faculties joined this online program. Facilitator Dr. Arvind Jain
known as Ranjan Sir is a renowned educationist and has tutored students throughout his life. The
session was interactive with immense learning and highly appreciated by all.
Department of Training & Development held a two-day workshop on March 4 & 5, 2021
Department of Training & Development held a two-day workshop on March 4 & 5, 2021, for students of BCom final year, College of Commerce to give them an insight on forthcoming placements.
Day one of the workshop covered group discussion by faculty Ms Namrata Vaidya. Everything related to the preparation of a GD, from delivery of content to do’s and don’ts, gestures and posture etc was explained. This was followed by mock GD rounds for students to have a taste of how they are judged in this round during the placement process.
Day 2 covered tips for cracking HR interviews by faculty Ms Vasundhara Kanojiya. Discussion on the most commonly asked interview questions and counter questions was done, along with dressing and grooming tips, behavior from entry to exit in the interview room.
Presentation Competition for students of MCA sem 1
Students of School of Computers, MCA 1st sem participated in a Presentation competition. This was part of their Communication Skill development activity. Mrs. Veena Chhibber Head of Department Training & Development guided and facilitated this event held from 4th to 7th January 2022.The response from the students was overwhelming. About 35 students presented their views on topics like

Workshop on HR Interviews
Department of Training & Development organized a three day workshop on HR Interview skills from 3 rd to 5 th March
2022 for students of School of Computers and ISR. About 80 students participated in this workshop which was
conducted by Mrs. Veena Chhibber HoD Training & Development along with veteran ex army Major General Karnik.
Students went through a mock interview on final day and received valuable feedback from the placement team.
