A FEW EXPERIMENTAL UNITS FOR CLEAR UNDERSTANDING OF DEEP CONCEPTS OF PHYSICS
(The Apparatus is available on demand on no profit no loss basis)

The weakness of laboratory education in India is being discussed over the years or even over decades. There are three aspects of this problem:

i) Academic content ii) Technical contents and iii) Financial needs

The academic content of lab work depends upon the teachers and to some extent upon academic managers. The Technical feasibility and utility of measurement requires development work by competent and knowledgeable peoples. The third component of money depends upon the society.

Prof. Babulal Saraf has been working to develop experiments with a view to communicate through them the 'hard to understand' and deep concepts of physics for nearly the past fifty years. He has developed all the experiments discussed below. For the last few years he is working in IPS Academy as the Director of Institute of Science and Laboratory education. The experiments are useful at all level of teaching right from high school to post graduate classes.

The apparatus can also be very effectively used as a teaching aid in classroom teaching particularly in higher secondary (10 +2) Physics Classes. With each equipment a special note is given as to how it can be useful in classroom teaching.

In designing the experiments a special care is taken in selection of components such that the desired phenomenon becomes prominent and visual.
