The Department of Electronics and Communication Engg. was established in the year 1994 with an intake of 60 students at graduation level since then we have been continuously progressing towards excellence, in the year 2004 we got an increment in number of seats to 90 students and in the year 2005 we got an increment of seats to 120 students. In the year 2007 we got permission to start ME Degree course in Electronics and Communication Engg. with an intake of 18 students, we are moving forward to establishment of research center in Dept of Electronics and Comm. Engg. so as to bring fraternities from Industry and Academics on a common Platform so that research work in the area of Communication can be excelled out.

E&C department is committed to teach Engineering students with the latest Communication Systems and Technology covering Optical and Cellular Communications, Next Generation Networks, Microwave and Radar Engineering, Digital Signal Processing and V.L.S.I. designs and others.

The Department has well qualified faculty, well-equipped laboratories and library. The department regularly organizes Seminar and Workshops on advanced communication subjects and invites guest speakers to deliver talks on latest communication topics.
